Note, on the self/teacher evaluation 1 was high (pg 1) whereas, on the student evaluation, 5 was high (pg 2-6).
Enthusiasm for material, subject knowledge and treating students with fairness and respect came easily to me in the classroom. Professionalism and other duties as assigned did as well outside of the classroom. Students and colleagues alike found me approachable and easy to work with.
Classroom management and lesson planning were more difficult for me, in part because I was coming directly out of undergrad and in part because of the tension with the welcoming laid-back atmosphere that I was going for. Day-to-day class was largely an amalgamation of techniques from my own educational experiences and I did not have much sophistication around putting students in groups or non-lecture based classes.
The students, naturally, gave quality feedback.
