Car buying unit (to teach exponential growth and other financing systems).

Students researched cars, learned the math involved in financing and leasing in addition to practicing negotiation skills. Ali el-Gasseir was our theatre teacher and came in to play car dealer for the students.

One parent took their student’s project back to the Toyota dealership and got all her dealer installed options on her Gen 1 prius, for free (post sale). Three other students ultimately ended up buying the car that they researched.
